Ling Wai-man (Moses Chan) hails from a Chinese herbal oil family. He strongly believes herbal oils can open up the meridians and prevent illness. He leaves his father’s medicinal oil empire and launches his own new brand Herbal Painless. However, his cousin Tang Sai-hang (Karl Ting) and the Tangs turn against him as a result. Wai-man somehow meets real estate agent Law Wing-sum (Kelly Cheung). Wing-sum has to take painkillers as she has been suffering from pain for a long time. She tries to use some herbal oil instead after being advised by Wai-man. And Wai-man concocts some medicinal oil product specifically for city dwellers as he is inspired by Wing-sum.
